"he always phrases things in a beautiful way"

Yep, he sexually assaulted her and didn't want to acknowledge it so he talked around it in a cringe pseudo-poetic way. Then went on to pretty much indirectly-directly tell Ueno that he will rape her until she is broken and gives up. But muh beautiful.

This is stupid. Author can make the cringe emo criminal gets chicks, whatever but keep that hentai mindbreak shit to them and leave out the established cast, lmao.

I want Chisaki to throw this dude on the ground but I also would want for Ueno to grow more balls to do it by himself. I wonder how the author is going to wrap this up.

Along with the m pad manga, the story somehow ended up having more actual plot and character development than one would expect.

It will be difficult for Manaka: she KNOWS she wants a new life and stay away from that twisted mix of love and pain, yet she has been tamed to a point where it is part of her instinct, and lust is not something you can control easily. As a victim she can be pretty vulnerable.

I am interested to see how this goes: will Manka be unable to resist? Maybe Ueno will let her know what he has been going through and the two can try to help each other out of the mess. Maybe we can explore an angle where the two of them may not be sexually compatible due to their past and how they try to deal with it?

It might end up being Manaka being the one who is able to move on, but Ueno is still stuck since he is still close to Chisaki & co.

I have a feeling that from the way the ex talks and acts, no one has given him a good ol' smack to the head or retaliated in any way. Not that I can imagine Ueno punching the guy, but I think anyone actually retaliating would shatter his "emo" better than thou image.

I'm honestly a bit surprised that Chisaki didn't at least smack the guy when he assaulted the girl right i n front of them.

The final decision lies with Manaka.
Everyone can want better for her but what will she do when emo-boy puts her in a tricky situation again?

“It’s because I love you, I hurt you. And because I hurt you I can love you”
That’s the kind of shit a guy who beats his wife would say. In what way is that poetic?

I’m going to be a contrarian and say that Ueno shouldn’t have stepped in here. Does he really know what Moka wants? Or is it wishful thinking and he’s just trying to make sure that he still has a chance? Who can say?

In any case I think he should be focusing on his own path rather than trying to help others right now. It’s like he’s drowning but also trying to help another person who can’t swim. They’ll both drown.

This guy can barely function and he’s stepping up? What is he going to do if the ex refuses to listen?
