So, you gave me a strike I see. So, you approve of and defend sexual assault I see. It was sexual assault not regular bullying that you're painting their crimes as. Ueno's only crime was trying to steal her clothes could've done what any normal person would've done and report him. No, they chose to sexually assault him for throughout middle school and then continue in college for a bit in Tsubomi and Kanako's cases, while Chisaki hasn't stopped yet going way beyond his original crime.

How regretful: the 4 of them seemed like pretty good friends in the past. Maybe the difference in social status caused Chisaki to choose a really foul way to establish something with Ueno.

Why was little dude sniffing women’s clothes in middle school. Like i get he was going through puberty and only having a mom makes it kind of hard to ask questions during a hormonally sensitive period of your life but you dont have to be a literal dog about it xd

From what I remember in the story so far, I'm guessing it was Ueno's first significant interaction with a girl that would leave an impression on him and maybe he caught feelings for Chisaki at that moment, became friends or at least hung around the trio, then later he saw an opportunity (teenager puberty moment) to sniff his crush's gym clothes and the rest is history.

We're at the halfway point of the story so there's plenty of content left before the finale.

Maybe the biggest twist is that Ueno dint actually steal the gym clothes? Won't be suprised if it was Kanako who did it but Ueno accidentally got caught in it.
