Out of everyone Kanako is the one I have no clue how will react to Ueno and Manaka
I'm worried this may be the calm before the storm!Everyone is acting so mature and responsible, well, compared to before at least.
What's the catch?
yeah, it is at once the correct answer, because this is something ueno should have talked to moka about, but it's also a convenient answer for chisaki, shifting the crosshairs off of herself and the potential consequences. either way, good on moka for putting it together and calling chisaki on it.Chisaki's response is mature and all, but I get the feeling she's evading a bit of blame by letting Ueno do most of the heavy mental lifting of explaining to Manaka their situation.
But I understand it though, they went at it without really knowing each other in a comfortable way that maybe Chisaki isn't the best person to explain it herself. Still a slightly coward move for me... gah the complexity is gripping!
You have to give characters some break and let them climb out of their misery, to an elevated point where they have more joy and happiness in life.Everyone is acting so mature and responsible, well, compared to before at least.
What's the catch?
Not a fan of Chisaki keeping it to herself.
And yet another chapter without Chisaki's feet.
After rough storms, only the honest remain on this ship. Not a fan of Chisaki keeping it to herself.
And yet another chapter without Chisaki's feet.
It’s a deeply shameful/trauma/com thing for ueno and itsWow, that convo felt like a big fast-forward. I didn’t think we’d get here so quickly. Honestly it sucks that Moka has to be the one to ask him rather than him having a spine and telling her himself but at least Chisaki didn’t just whip out her phone and show off all the videos…
I think I've lost a lot of interest. Like the initial premise was the bullying fetish and sexcapades. That was the appeal. But now it's trying to be more plot focused and treating the situations as logically toxic. Even if the story from the beginning intended to do more with scenario I feel like the direction it decided in is antithetical to it's origin and kind of trying to unravel the knots the author themselves created and it isn't doing a great job of it. It doesn't help that the pacing feel like it's tanked. I will continue this series until the end though.
its genuinely so refreshingWow I'm always surprised at advancement in these kinds of stories. I'm used to a series spinning it's wheels but not going anywhere fast.
I think he means, he signed up for some guilt-free sexiness and now the thing that initially got you to read is now shaming you due on how toxic the initial chapters were. This is a coming of age story. There was always a level of expectation of Ueno breaking his programming and to have a healthier sex life one day. Like I mentioned in previous chapter discussions, it is a balancing act for Ueno to get character development while still having erotic content, especially femdom content, present within the story.
In the beginning, it was easier to have erotic/femdom content since it didn't take much for the bully trio to shatter Ueno's resistance. Now it's harder since Ueno has grown, his relationship with the bullies changed, and most importantly, Ueno's and the bullies' relationship with Moka makes it difficult to continue their sexual encounters without hurting her.
Now, personally, I don't want femdom content to dry up anytime soon and hopefully the author finds a way to incorporate those elements back into the story. If Ueno continues to have wet dreams or hallucinations of having sex with the bullies, I think it will be a fine alternative for that type of content as it will show his continue struggle to achieve normalcy and to have a normal relationship with Moka. I always imagine at the end of the series, Ueno will unlock the ability to cum without being bullied but he accepts that being a masochist is his preference and that's O.K.
I do remember in a livestream the mangaka and Yanmaga did to promote the release of volume 5, the editor ensured the audience that the erotic content is not going away. Take that as you will.
The shift away from the femdom/foot focus makes me appreciate Elf to Bike to Teikoku Chiri Chousain to all the more.I think he means, he signed up for some guilt-free sexiness and now the thing that initially got you to read is now shaming you due on how toxic the initial chapters were.
