Even with all cards on the table I still don’t see how these two can stay a couple. How can they trust each other when they don’t even trust themselves? They’re barely even self-aware of their own issues.

Maybe the happiest ending we can hope for is them teaming up to murder the bullies and her ex and then disappearing separately.

I don’t think they ever even had romantic feelings for each other in the first place. They were both just desperate to move towards being “normal” and thought the other person was convenient.

Moka picked Ueno because he seemed kind, non-threatening, and unlikely to reject her. He’s honestly not attractive enough for her and also isn’t well endowed enough to compensate for it (although she doesn’t know it yet).

Ueno reciprocated because Moka is honestly the only female who’s been nice to him for years and he doesn’t want to miss the chance. Maybe he also liked her resemblance to Tsubomi? (I honestly need context clues to tell them apart sometimes)

Anyway these two messed up people kissed and felt NOTHING. Nothing? I don’t care what “development” they got done to them, there shouldn’t have been nothing. So what is there even to fight for romantically?

They’re better off as friends that can be honest with each other and support their respective journeys to a version of themselves that they’re comfortable with long term.

NTR probably won't happen, if that were the case then Moka would have gone with her ex after Ueno lost his match against but she still chose Ueno.

Likewise if NTR was really being setup then Ueno and Moka would not have communicated so perfectly this chapter.

I think the author is for the most part, playing this straight, full blown NTR is too extreme for this series.
