I'm giving the author more credit than you that they're not thinking fanservice is good narrative purpose. It's not good to show that three of the four girls results in a happy ending, as least as far as the metaphorical bedroom is concerned, nor is it needed. The arc dearth of scenes could have been filled with Ueno and Moka experimenting, which would be far more useful to the story.

I'd say it's safely over, the what if scenes are just that, what if.

With the trio's characters concluded, all that's left is for Moka and Ueno to fix their intimacy and ride into the sunset.

well it's a little more than just fanservice, it's a fanservice that also decisively closes the door on each of those pathways. i did say that in the comment, but maybe not clearly enough. the real point i'm trying to make is that we're seeing them in the what-if scenes because we will not be seeing them that way in the story going forward.
also showing moka and ueno experimenting throughout this arc would have derailed what this arc is doing, which is wrapping up the arcs of the bully trio as the story approaches its ending. wrapping things up for ueno and moka is probably going to be the focus of the final arc, since we're all expecting it'll probably end around ch100.

What I was suggesting is something like the what-ifs are being told through the lens of Moka and Ueno experimenting. That way you see that each what-if would result in a failure while also showing those two feeling each other out. The end result, if it is Moka+Ueno, would thus be built toward. As it is now, there hasn't been anything to show why a second attempt would end much better than the first and yet each of the trio individually could provide a happy ending.
