Where chapter 1
Alright, someone told me he plans to scanlate the series now. I'll be doing transcription, so I'll probably still have translations to post for Chapters 2+3. Otherwise, I figure most people would rather wait for the scan, so I wouldn't bother posting them. I'll still provide them on request, like for a non-English scanlation.I've not heard of any scanlation groups, but I'm doing an English text translation myself.
Here is the Chapter 1 translation (and the chapter itself on the website).
I don't know of anywhere hosting raws or how to rip them from the website. As far as I know, you'll have to actually read chapters legitimately. After the first couple, that will require an account for the website (not hard to make) and spending points/money (haven't tried that yet).
Can you do the next chapters?Alright, I'm caught up:
Chapter 2 link, Chapter 2 transcript+translation
Chapter 3 link, Chapter 3 transcript+translation
To reiterate: I'm working with an English scanlator (who'll translate properly, whereas mine is mostly machine-based), and if anyone is interested in other language scans, send them my way so I can save them time on transcription.
Since you asked, sure. I'll DM you it.Can you do the next chapters?
Hey! is there any update on the scanlating of this manga yet?Alright, I'm caught up:
Chapter 2 link, Chapter 2 transcript+translation

Unfortunately, no. They decided to use their own transcripts, because converting mine to their format wasn't worth the effort, so I haven't been involved myself.Hey! is there any update on the scanlating of this manga yet?
Thanks for the transcript btw, i really enjoyed these 3 chapters thanks to you, i'm actually excited to see more of this manga!
For reference, this wasn't the same person who put out today's scan.Alright, someone told me he plans to scanlate the series now. I don't believe so. The writing is already on the wall even in the first chapter with the "if I were a girl i'd fall for him" and then the same line gets restated in chapter 2. The only variable is whether they decide to remain a girl or go BL. I'm hoping for the latter. The question is, how good will this story get? A story about finding love with a person you didn't expect while feeling gender dysphoria but also feeling trapped by heteronormativity making it feel as though you need to remain a gender you don't want in order to make your relationship and feelings valid in your head. Coming to grips with the idea that they will love you regardless and helping you to be the person you want.Hmm.... Yuri potential?
The last couple chapters of the raw can be summarized as "Hanging out with Noel makes Keisuke enjoy being a girl for the first time, then indirectly causes a big argument between Keisuke and Eito."I don't believe so. The writing is already on the wall even in the first chapter
Well hey I've been wrong before, I'll be wrong again. The flag seemed really obvious but if the official site calls it a GL I must be wrong. The last couple chapters of the raw can be summarized as "Hanging out with Noel makes Keisuke enjoy being a girl for the first time, then indirectly causes a big argument between Keisuke and Eito."
Regardless of who "wins", girl Keisuke and Noel are absolutely a thing. The Ciao+ website even gives the series the "GL" tag; it nominally means "Girls Life" and not "Girls Love", but you can see what other things it's used for. Same with the "BL (Boys Life)" tag.
Yes, "Girls/Boys Love" are the usual terms. What I'm saying is the Ciao+ website has the tags "GL (Girls Life)" and "BL (Boys Life)". It's not defined, but seems to be used for both textual and subtextual same-sex romance. There's less than ten titles between them, but one of them is by the author of Uesugi-kun.I believe you are wrong about the definitions of GL and BL though. It's been boys' love and girls' love for decades.
