It’s just one of the hallmarks of the genre. Gender bender series are all about how being in a different body feels like, and the topic of the urinary system is just the most obvious one to tackle because

• It allows for urgency (women have shorter urethras than men, so when they need to go they need to go)
• It can come up frequently (women have a certain part of their anatomy which takes up space in their body, affecting how much their bladder can actually hold)
• It can lead to the main character treading uncharted waters (it would necessitate them to go into the forbidden women’s bathroom)
• The other major issues dealing with women’s anatomy are the menstrual cycle (only occurs once a month) or pregnancy (they sort of have to do a prerequisite for that one)

So basically, pee humor is the easiest to do.
