Lold. Takemiya Jin writes one or two same things over and over - theres nothing inherently original or 'mature' to be found in her works. Some topics and subjects may be atypical for the genre, but her way of tackling those kind of issues mostly does not rise to the occasion and in result, the final product often ends up being 'mediocre' (term which I actually use in non-pejorative manner here ; theyre just bland and uninspired, not 'bad' in technical sense). Theyre merely very self-indulgent and extremely introspective, sometimes to the point of coming off as neurotic. And as for her tendency to self-insert... that one series in which she almost mary sued herself was really hard to digest and I cant see how people could still treat her seriously after reading it. Good thing they did, because as far as I can tell it was a one time occurrence only but still... 'Empress Theresa' vibes are not easy to forget.
