Well...this is axed for sure. We evaded unnecessary drama, but the main “villain” is pushed aside way too easy and without a proper explanation from both parts. Heck, probably FMC didn’t even had time to realize that she had feelings for her.
Also, I’m always annoyed when a manipulative character eludes problems and go back to his/her normal life.

All in all a good ending tho, seems no one opposed to their relationship and the child seems fine about it.

really mediocre ending for a really mediocre story, i was reading this hoping it would get better but if this was the end that we would've gotten i'm glad that it didn't go on for 30+ chapters, and as it is usual the axe claims another victim

It's a shame this had to end so abruptly and I gotta say I didn't see it coming
I thought we'd have at least one more chapter after this
The anti Touko got shut down which was nice but it should have been more emotional
The two sister thing really got seemingly retconned
Which I'm not against
I kinda wanted a sexy chapter with the two leads common Kodama
In any case it's the definition of a 7/10 series

This was garbage. Complete and total garbage. Just like everything I read from this author before. Thanks to the translators for your hard work, but this artist in unable to create something good. I gave them enough chances but this is the final nail on the coffin. I'm never reading any trash from them ever again.

@JKTV Has nothing to do with possibilities and certainties; it has to do with that you could have just said “Touko was probably in love with Mayumi.” instead of all this “sexual orientation” stuff.

No one says “I think Touko is probably attracted to brownhairs and blackhairs, and was probably in love with Mayumi.” either.

Mm.I'd gotten the impression that Touko had inserted herself into the relationship between Mayumi and her former fiancee in a terrible attempt to make sure that noone was closer to Mayumi than she was.

I really don't like the implication that having a baby "fixed" Touko in the epilogue; having a baby under those circumstances fixes no one, it just gives the option to break one more person.

Hell, everything about Toukou's resolution in the last chapter seems pretty offputting. I'd have liked it better if she'd left on her own after being rejected, at the very least. It would reinforce the ending theme of "make your own decisions about your life". Leave the former fiance out of the decision, he's not a character anyway.

That way, if the intention is "Toukou made her own happiness with the former fiance", then it's at least what she decided to do. If the decision is to bad end Touko, you can break them up off panel, or just "Touko never contacted me again."

Editor-san said "wrap it up" I guess. Shame. I liked the characters, so I would have liked more story from them. The ending was rushed, but it wasn't a bad manga. At least we got an ending instead of it dropping off the face of the earth with no conclusion.
