The people appearing on page 4 are Nakaoka Shintaro and Sakamoto Ryoma, and the guy on page 6 is Saigo Takamori. They were the main figures behind the formation of the Satsuma-Choshu alliance which then led to the Meiji Restoration.

Cool! The hallucination scenes hit harder knowing Kashin is seeing actual historical figures and not just rando samurai...

If Koji Kashin is capable of sharing his memories with other people, as shown in this chapter, he may also be able to transfer his consciousness into another person's body. If thats the case then this guy is just a vessel, and it would explain how Koji Kashin has been around for so long. Maybe all the skulls in page 7 represent the previous vessels?
