I think for how much they've done together and the emotional investment they have with each other, it makes sense that Tinaasha has come to love Oscar. But, nonetheless, it shouldn't have been rushed through within a chapter, and should've been at least 3 more chapters. I get you, but this moment should have happened like 2 arcs ago, when we learned how she turned into a witch and her past, while him had faith on her moves from the start, like a year ago we already knew the confession should have happened, but we got 2 mini arcs in between this moment, so not complaining how it happened, what I found weird is how they just went for smeggs immediately hahaha, well the prince was being blueballed for A LOOOOOOOT of time, pretty much before the attack was happening he was already close to do it too.

For Tinaasha, having sex with Oscar is really risky; her power as a Spirit Witch has been reduced to half, and she is about to fight another witch who actively hates her.

If I recall, Oscar and Tinaasha discussed this back when it was brought up, and Tinaasha herself said that while she would lose some amount of power, it would be a very small amount compared to her total power. Also, didn't she just gain access to those 7 spirits or whatever their names were? They themselves seem to draw on their own power, so there's that.

The buildup has been the whole manga.
Also, have you ever heard of superheated water? It can look calm outwardly, but disturb it a little and suddenly you have a steam explosion on your hands.
