Magical power and mana capacity I'm bettingHave they properly defined what differentiates a witch from an ordinary mage? Aside from lifespan...
It was never fully explained what it means to be a "witch", so far it just seems like something tremendously skilled female spellcasters are called. It was however stated, that the immortality is not part of it - the FMC clearly said she was using her power to halt her aging. Meaning, it's purely voluntary to live like that and she used it to get revenge on the magic kingdom's ruler when he resurfaced. Besides, since Oscar's power could be sealed, there should be no reason the child's couldn't be similarily, if that's such a concern.Seeing that Tinasha didn’t completely flip to marriage makes more sense than her actually doing so, but it still feels a bit goofy that she decided to take the plunge for sex and lose power while still not deciding to be with him completely. I suppose that’s just her falling the most she can without having a child. But with this reveal that a child between her and Oscar could become a witch justifies her current apprehensiveness to commit, albeit it doesn’t justify her having sex anyways. While the biggest concern would be that this child witch be destructive, another concern that Tinasha herself knows quite well is that her child could end up becoming very lonely due to their immortality, which overall adds a nice layer of complexity. In the end, this is a decent development which while does lengthen the story quite conveniently, it is still satisfactory enough to continue the series.
not sure if it needed, but one this is her not aging, and another is her being immortal, she remembers being open alive before turning into a witch. It was never fully explained what it means to be a "witch", so far it just seems like something tremendously skilled female spellcasters are called. Her sleeping with him seems to me like a spur-of-the-moment decision, so it makes sense that she didn't think to much about it.Seeing that Tinasha didn’t completely flip to marriage makes more sense than her actually doing so, but it still feels a bit goofy that she decided to take the plunge for sex and lose power while still not deciding to be with him completely. Chapter 33 clearly states the guys that did this kept her alive throughout the process, it has nothing to do with any supposed immortality and it wasn't due to this that she became a witch (whatever that means). It's not like it was ever even implied that she can't die, why would you think that?not sure if it needed, but one this is her not aging, and another is her being immortal, she remembers being open alive before turning into a witch.
there's also the thing with Oscar once getting his magic power released could live longer too, to not let Tinasha be alone and have more time to teach their future kid to learn the Uncle Ben lessons
I remember reading loooong ago that she was immortalChapter 33 clearly states the guys that did this kept her alive throughout the process, it has nothing to do with any supposed immortality and it wasn't due to this that she became a witch (whatever that means). Again, what does that even mean?[...] (that event was what made her a witch though), so my bad there.
It's fine, I'm not seeking apologies or anything. Just couldn't understand what made you think that when the manga already had scenarios in which her life was in danger. And besides Oscar's weapon (Akashia for being anti-magic sword), Tinasha doesn't have many weakness to note, as she pretty much regen from that ritual and cured herself from the deadly poison (with help from Lucrezia), so that's why I considered her that she was immortal, which was my mistake.
in the chapter you mention (33), Lucrezia explains that they used her guts and blood to summon magical power, it wasn't only hers or maybe it was her potential power, I would say it's kinda different as they use the word summoned magical power and not summon all her magical power in the ritual.Again, what does that even mean? The whole point of the ritual was that she was already incredibly powerful and some of that power was stolen from her through that. Does the novel actually assign some special meaning to the term "witch" other than the obvious "skilled female spellcaster"?
