The friend is involved, maybe she is envy.
Every male in this world has the same shirt? Photographer, teacher and father. All of them have the same shirt....

However, I point the finger again the cool guy on the chap 1 or to the photographer. The teacher or the gardener are too obvious and she doesn't react to the father.

You would think the most sensible thing to do here is to report it to the authorities but no, maybe she was just too scared to report.

The rapist is too careless. Who blackmails with just a video nowadays? He is practically asking to get jailed.

Fcking threaten her family or get her addicted to some drugs first dude!

Ok, I never understood these plots where the rapist blackmails you with pictures of HIM RAPING YOU OR YOU BEING FORCED AGAINST YOUR WILL TO DO SOMETHING. Wtf kind of sense does that make? 1. The person can very easily get the authorities to your house and check your phone 2. If you post that shit online, people will track you down and a majority will be heavily against you and maybe even try to go as far as to kill you. And the police will be all over your bitch ass. 3. If this girl, who is loved by everyone, gathers up her resolve and says that you raped her, everyone will be on her side and you will be outcasted, lose your job, go to jail, and get your sorry ass raped in prison. So, yeah, this plot is annoying

@Ddog123 okay so the reason this makes good blackmail is reputation the rapist might end up in jail (and because South Korea might be out in less than a year or may never go to jail at all) her reputation is ruined people will look at her like she's dirty they'll probably share the video around she may loose her job among other things because companies will think its ruined her reputation and considering she's a model it will probably break a lot of people's fantasies about her and her popularity will go down drastically plus rapist have a knack for spinning stuff so it sounds like its consensual so there's no doubt she'll also get bombarded with statements saying she's lying so yeah its really good blackmail you are greatly overestimating the general public they turn on people very quickly also once again she's a model and even if she wasn't a model and if the general public backed her the odds of that video being shared around quite a few porn sites are high and the odds of it being taken down are low (see any revenge porn as well as all those stories about pornhub having videos of people's rapes up on their site and refusing to take it dowb) which just makes the situation worse

@Zeesnowflower2002 I would like to offer a rebuttal to that but I don't know nearly enough about South Korea to offer a solid opinion on that. I feel like things would be VERY different in a western setting but I'm honestly not sure how accurate this is for South Korea. I would like to ask, are things really that extreme over there regarding matters like this? (Also, I still feel like option 1 is a very valid option)

@Ddog123 I mean, just a few years ago Brock Turner, the American rapist, only had 6 months of jail time, so maybe it's not that different in a Western setting after all (no matter how much we want it to be different)

Also looks like only the photographer and teacher have the same shirt (and also dad I guess, but I hope it's not him).

@Sarsak ( I think a situation similar to this comic would go differently in a western setting. I'm not mainly referring to the sentencing but more the public reaction and the actions of certain people) Still, I feel like there are also plenty of other examples where the rapist received actual justice for their crimes and got persecuted harshly... but, it is definitely true that there are sadly plenty of situations where that is not the case. (Like the example you just mentioned.) And that is definitely a pressing issue that needs to be worked on in many countries (including the US)

I don't know why people threat blackmail of a rape victim being raped. It doesn't make sense, it just ensures you'll be caught and it's unlikely to really ruin their career. It's just so unrealistic that it drags the story down.

Also, you can always enter court as "jane doe" or go into witness protection. Then, when the police come to arrest him, he won't be able to upload the video because they'll obviously confiscate his phone, because how the fuck would he know if the police confronted him on the street or something.

This logic is dumb

@Tamerlane I think you're just wrong about the "unlikely to really ruin their career" aspect. Successful idol careers are pretty fragile from what I know, though I'm not sure how Thailand differs from Japan or South Korea.
