updates not showing up

i follow quite a deal of mangas, sometimes whenever i check my follow tab thingy
i wont see new chp, but once i return to main page, ill see a manga im following appear
so of course i check the follow tab, but it isnt there

Happen to me as well actually.
But in my case a bit different..
Like there was this manga I follow and it just got updated with a non English translation, and it appear on my following tab.
Since I didn't know that language of course I skipped it.
But then like a few hours later an English version of that manga got updated, but this English version update doesn't appear on my follows tab, while the other language appear.

@LoliALF What is your following status set to? The first page of your follows defaults to only show things set to 'Reading'
If it's set to anything else, that could explain why you aren't seeing it.

that would explain it, if it wasnt on non-reading
but when ive said reading, they're on reading
