Although the story is fictional elements of the story are so real... just a quick search and you'll find articles on the % increase of people (mainly women) who have begun selling photos (due to the crisis) on sites like 'famty' that exist in real life... the mangaka hit a big issue there, uncomfortable but real.

@b-no well she was at first aiming for a normal job, then convinced herself that she could get easy money from just being cute, she is not really doing it for self validation or clout, it is about getting cash, that's why to her getting an sponsorship is so important.

And she could make it work, but the fact is that her style apparently is not popular so now she has to buy followers that she pays by selling nudes, she is entering a world that she clearly doesn't knows how to manage, the only community she has to support her are people that get off from being teased and blue-balled, she could end broke and defamed limiting her chances to start again with a normal work or even as an entertainer.
