Entertaining read. I like how the author connect the begining and the end. Foreshadowing at it's finest~

When I read this initially like 2-3 years ago I thought it was a load of nonsense, completely farfetched but now that I'm a little older and I re-read it today (26/11/2025) I thought they were all pretty grounded and realistic stories(for the most part), I've actually spoken to some ura account girls from Japan via their ura accounts or LINE and they actually have had really similar situations to this and have really strange relationships with various men. Considering the mangaka who created it is female, she may have drawn from her own experiences or her girlfriend's experiences, who knows? At any rate, I think she has a good understanding of how women think and feel and is honest about them(to a fault), especially the girls who are made to be self-loathing and trapped within Japan's rigid systems where women are treated as slaves, as she may have been one herself in the past. The deranged faces some of the characters pull are really great, each story highlights the evils of technology and society(Japanese society specifically) as well as the cold and callousness of modern humans, sex being nothing more that an activity to pass the time rather than the bonding of two souls(seriously, condoms are the devil and encourage promiscuous sex), I do still think some of the characters act weirdly selfish to a cartoonish extent but while in an extremely exaggerated state, that is really just how people are, realistically speaking, I'm not a nihilist or a misanthrope, I really do love people but I've just accepted that these kind of betrayals and misfortunes can happen to people.

---SPOILERS---

The only story I had any kind of major criticism with and the one that I felt verged on almost pure fiction was the one with the rockstar girl. I still don't understand why her ura account is blamed for her being kidnapped and sexually assaulted, nor does it really "corrupt" her or lead her to happiness, the ura account is completely neutral in that one, it's the story that has the least to do with the ura accounts, in my opinion lol

From what I can tell she would have unmasked at some point or another either on stage or otherwise and the Yakuza thug would have found her out regardless of if they'd spoke online, I mean, it's not as if she was a shut-in or anything and they live in the same city in close proximity to one or another, I feel like it would have been only a matter of time until fate brought them together again.

I would love if this mangaka did another anthology series similar to this involving another dangerous technology, like, AI for example.
