Well shucks, if you'd told me back when Kuroiwa was introduced that I'd actually find the chapter where he died to be pretty sad, I'd have said to you "What? Kuroiwa's a man?"

We're now down three quest-givers and Jin is still missing. It's feeling more and more like we're moving towards an ending.

Thing is Hama CAN see the red
She did in the last chapter when Yume was looking forwards instead of the red line
So doesnt that just mean that Hama's the one putting them in danger?

I think she was just looking at kuroiwas finger

Or she can see it but only her mums half. There's no reason for hama to lie since she doesn't know anything about the red being curse

I mean, it's possible that she's been chalking the colours up to a form of synesthesia. Seeing them, but assuming it was from stress/her disease/etc and thus trying to ignore it

I didn't even catch that. That puts her "uhh" type comment about the box into a whole new context. We know Hama is a master of BS and she can definitely see the red.

But what does that mean for Hama?

And what is Yume? Now that we know Jin and Yin were experiments, it makes Yume even less likely to just have been naturally born with her gift (and then Yayoi murdered Yume to collect her)

Is this going like, Mr. Sinister levels crazy where he eugenics planned Cyclops's entire bloodline?

Pretty interesting revelation, that the color jobs were dangerous only to those who could see the colors.

At least, that's how I'm reading it? Or does that mean they weren't dangerous to Hama/Yume specifically? Because plenty of other people died during those color jobs.
