Genuinely one of the best endings in a manga I've seen in a while. Really great cap to finish things off, loved it. Every single bit of it was so fully in character and it was way happier than you'd ever expect from a series like this. Several years of buildup of humanity's total helplessness in the face of these beings beyond comprehension that just annihilate us for no reason we can understand, without knowing it's even happening, all to be capped off with this is just great. I'm happy with this ending but i wish we got to see the moment Yume and Hama got reunited. I'm looking forward to the author's next work. Thanks for translating this for so long!

From previous chap with what Yume talked with Designer/Star-face-man, Gray wasn't over the top world destroying in the first place, however one Gray somehow manage to stay alive for so long it directly or indirectly causing every other grays to become more powerful.
While stopping said "starter" gray ended up not really wipe out Gray entirely, it still helps to manage them to stay in manageable level.
Despite everything, I guess in technical sense, Yume truly become the "strongest gray" keeping her power to pretty high level (not as peak as Post-Hama-Assassinated arc, but who would like that to happen?)
