One interesting throw back twist to the previous chapter is that in the og timeline , they asked yume why she worked . And she gave an answer she wasn't satisfied with but said hama would be able to phrase it better.

In this new timeline, the one who had the dream to converse with the starmen was actually hama, not yume. The starmen followed yumes advice and asked hama for her answer in her dream.

It was ambiguous in the manga as it doesn't specifically show who was talking, but given that the person got annoyed at the starmen and then hama replied to go on vacation, it is clear she was the one who had the dream

Very satisfied with this ending and the reset felt earned rather than an asspull (looking at u csm)

It's rare a manga can actually pull off a good ending

And so it ends.

I'll be honest, I'm a little unsatisfied. No Daidai, and we barely got to see the main two do much of anything in the last chapter, and we don't know how they came back or how they got rid of all their debt or other issues. The gray is still a thing, albeit weaker.

But, what the heck. Our two girls are happy, partying it up, and they're doing what they wanted to do since the beginning. A nice, happy end.

So Yume showed to the Designers that the future can be changed (even though it kinda backfired what with the entire world getting wiped out by the Grays...see, this is why we need a shadow organization that deals with these threats, people..and not Q!) so now Hama and Yume just be jumping from place to place dealing with the Grays in a rebooted timeline in secret oh and the Grays are somewhat nerfed this time..

Oh and the sale's starting back up in 2027..so avoid any sales, ladies and gentlemen..they've seen us..

Thank you for the chapter! I'm really glad I get to read this series through the end. What a great manga! I hope we get to see anime adaptation some day.

We might get more Daidai content in the future because the mangaka's X has cryptic posts featuring her that look like an ongoing countdown to something. Let's wait and see!

Debt and personal issues have been dealt with in the original timeline and it's reasonable to assume that these characters would be able to do it again.

Regarding the specificities of how the world was reset and how YumeHama got together again, my guess is that they're deliberately obscured, because, to be frank, it'd be a pain to try to explain coherently. It seems in line with this mangaka's style of storytelling to leave the details out in favour of the bigger conclusion. I agree it leaves something to be desired, but I'd say the way it was handled is optimal for this kinda story.

Wat. I enjoyed it more when its urban legends and creepy pastas, but author wanna end it with a bang.Still nice though, 248 chapters of spooky shit and a story, not just standalone stories. Thanks ura baiters for keeping on the translation even with the giga nuke on more than half of the chapters and thank you speedstar scanlation as well.

Thank you all for a wild ride on one of my favorite horror works ever. I'm glad Yume and Hama could go to America to get married go on that vacation they were saving up for.

I'll take this happy ending.

I'm going to miss the paper driver and her blonde friend, bros... Truly the grey jobs were the friends we made along the way.

I followed this series from the Ringo arc until the end, loved how the story progressed and tied up at the end. Thank you so much for bringing this to us!

I wish we could see how other characters' lives change like the Chinese brothers or Akagawa. Though I find it weird that Chacha and Takuma don't know Yume and Nagomi, considering the fact that both of them must still work on grey jobs

I just realized, the final chapters brought back so many old threads it’s odd that we didn’t get anything from the conspiracy that had been bottling and selling the hot spring of dreams, or the old man with the very distinctive liver spot on his head from the cotton glove conspiracy. They both seemed like they were setups for later reveals.
also I’m really hoping for a daidai bonus chapter.
