Seems like it adds up much better if it’s the wife who had the dissociative fugue. Whether or not she’s involved with the 3m tall lady, it may well have been her that took those photos. Makes you wonder if photos taken in the otherside also get garbled? Digital stuff like phones might have their own issues, but a disposable film camera would be interesting to try. Maybe we’ll get a parallel drawn between the wife’s fugue and the alternate Sorawo we saw a while ago in a mirror and in a photo. Chances are Sorawo has had dissociative episodes before, considering the can of petrol.

I’m just spitballing, spoilers in the response please.
Yeah, that's where I'm at; she had a fugue, walked off, and the husband was like "where the heck did my wife go?" And leaves to go find her. Then he meets Hasshaku, etc. etc.
A few months later, the fugue state ends, and she comes home to find the weird crap the Otherside has done to her house after eating her husband, and is like "where did my husband go...?"

Time to revisit chapter two with added mystery and a true anomaly created by the Otherside...
Self aware Sorawo??!
Gives me shivers just thinking about her being all in touch with her emotions.
What eldritch horrors await next? Sorawo confessing? Anything is possible in the Otherside.
Sorawo being un-useless is carrier than any bug trap.

Then he meets Hasshaku
Yeah it seems pretty open and shut, and that alone doesn’t make the freaky reveal at the climax of the arc. That either means Abarato is alive or has some traceable traces left behind to find yet, or that the true horror is in what his wife did when she was in her fugue. I’m betting on the latter since his death was an important part of the climax of the first arc, but this implies they’ll end up uncovering the same strange clues Abarato was following to the otherside in the first place, leading them to question the wife more and more. Should be fun.
