Another great indie artist from the last quarter of the 20th Century is Dave Sim. If you want to see what happens when a creator truly has full, sole control over a character/work spanning more than 25 years, Cerebus the Aardvark has all the highs and lows - some absolutely brilliant writing and art, and a conclusion that completely falls apart under the weight of Sim's... hubris? insanity? complete detachment from the reader base? Certainly worth a look.
I'll second that; Cerebus is a rollercoaster of a read, and well worth a try.

Couldn't get a good picture of this one. Still on the lookout for a good copy of it, too.

Sorry, missed yesterday. I started taking medication for the high anxiety I've been having recently and it's been making me very very very tired. Don't know what I'm going to do.

Hopefully that settles out in the next couple days. In the meantime, 'High Anxiety' is the title of Mel Brooks's Hitchcock parody - worth a watch if you've never seen it, though I don't think it's quite as good as 'Young Frankenstein' or 'Blazing Saddles.'

Oh wait I read Carciphona religiously if that counts. Author was a music school grad so the sound/musical aspect is very prominent (take it out and it'd end up being a more average 'we're mages wielding our own curse as power' fantasy plot).

Having church bards as one of the frontline to protect society rather than just backline support? Kinda banger I'd say

Why does the writer always make Tony an asshole? Like plotting some shit or do some horrible stuff.

The one with Daredevil is fucked up man.
the issue this art is from iron man was trying to get mile morales (the one in black) to use his tech and when spiderman got there tony was being an asshole about peters company so he starts like 90% of the fights hes in
