Just a storyline I've seen a few times, and wondered if there were others, esp. ones that've been completed. The setup is basic: a person's girlfriend, spouse, family member(s), etc. thinks that he's a worthless, useless bum with no ambition or drive who will never make it out of the poorhouse, and as such decides to dump him. Then it turns out that the guy is famous and incredibly successful, or at least far better off than they imagined. For a while I was recommended video after video of short video manga on YouTube with this exact plotline, usually with the guy either kicked out by his parents or dumped by his wife (and probably daughter), only for them to later find out that he's a CEO of a huge corporation or whatnot.
In normal manga, I've seen it happen at least once in a series called "Negatte mo Nai Tsuihou Go":
I also accidentally stumbled on a similar concept on VNDB in what sounds like a really messed up eroge. A trio of sisters whose parents had passed are fed up with their brother, who just sits in his room all day and doesn't contribute to anything, so they kick him out and disown him. Then the next month their regular checks don't come in to the bank, so they furiously track him down to demand to know what he did with their precious inheritance. Only it turns out the inheritance ran out a long time ago, and since then he'd been working all day every day as a remote programmer to support them, but he wasn't going to share his income with "strangers" who wanted nothing to do with him, so now that they were no longer siblings they'd have to give him something worth paying for. Like I said, very messed up premise, but stumbling on the page made me remember this setup and wonder if there were any others out there.

the guy fell in love with a girl in high school and pushed himself hard to become a great adventurer (in an alternate reality where dungeons have suddenly appeared everywhere). She'd always supported him and cheered him on, and he did his best to become successful and provide for her, and when he finally reached a level of wealth where the two of them could live a great life together without any concerns at all he aimed to propose to her, only for her to dump him on the spot and say that she would never marry someone with as unstable a job as an adventurer, and that she was tired of the cheap dates and lack of attention, so she was leaving him for a guild manager with great prospects for promotion (who immediately deleted the hero's adventurer registration, though he didn't mind since retirement was part of his plan). It's not long afterward that it's revealed the guy is "Zero", the one and only S-rank adventurer in Japan who made millions A DAY, stood as a crucial pillar of the Japanese economy with the resources he retrieved from dungeons, and had connections to just about everyone. His ex's new boyfriend was rapidly demoted and sent to a remote village with a three-year paycut, which he struggled to keep hidden from her. She also saw an advertisement for the "cheap" restaurant he always took her to, and was shocked that the minimum price for one person was around sixty thousand yen, since she'd never looked at the check and just took his word that it was just "a nice barbecue joint". The one point that's somewhat unique here compared to other series is the fact that here, upon learning that the "cheap joints" her ex had always taken her to was actually a famous luxury restaurant, she didn't react with "maybe I should have stayed" or "I screwed up, I could be living the good life" but rather "I said something very cruel to him" indicating at least some proper remorse.
