idk as much as i love gou, why tf did he use words only the husband would say? its feels as if hes slowly been observing their relationship and has waited for the perfect time to introduce himself to her. Wdym you can possess and curse anyone, and wdym she just found out?! and the only reason she found out it wasnt the hub fawking her was from the head. i think he dropped it on purpose to show he was “messy” and not “used too possessing people.” but like emulate the hub manner if speaking?! like hear me out what if he possessed the husband way before she knew of his presence? possessing means they can also control peoples bodies, like gou could have fawked her with her husbands body way before she knew of gou so she would lose intrest in him, and controlled his speech. kinda how he paralyzed her in the beginning, is how i think he has been possessing the hubs body. i think the ghost is gonna be the villan in this story. he is such a manipulator and i love it

In fairness, leaving a marriage is NOT that easy, especially as a housewife in Japan, doubly especially when it was an arranged marriage. Where are you going to go? You’re not financially independent enough to live by yourself, your parents aren’t going to take you back in because they’re the ones who put you in that position to begin with, and it doesn’t really seem like she has any reliable friends.

Also it’s mentioned before she HAS tried talking to him, and he shuts her down.

In fairness, leaving a marriage is NOT that easy, especially as a housewife in Japan, doubly especially when it was an arranged marriage. Where are you going to go? You’re not financially independent enough to live by yourself, your parents aren’t going to take you back in because they’re the ones who put you in that position to begin with, and it doesn’t really seem like she has any reliable friends.

You read it wrong. The initial reaction of him connecting the dots and running out to find his wife IS him, not the ghost. You literally got tricked by the ghost in the same way the wife did.

The husband absolutely cares, but he was possessed and the ghost lied so now it looks like he doesn’t.

She's a horrible person. She's entirely at fault for the marriage she chose to get into but won't leave because she's too selfish to abandon the money. She could have just been open and honest with the husband with her issues even before the adultery but she didn't even wait to see if that would work out. Women read these kinds of stories as "liberating" and sympathetic but it's entirely cruel on their part.

THANK YOU! It is literally the easiest time in history to get a divorce in pretty much any first and second world country. Even more so with children involved. Why do people pretend they're so helpless they "have" to do these immoral things?

It's unclear what she actually told him, though. In the first chapter when she's thinking about how bad he is at sex she thinks of a few things that would improve it for her but intentionally doesn't say any. All it seems like she told him is that he's under-performing/it's unsatisfying. She repeatedly points out that she can't communicate with him and doesn't have the courage to bring anything up which is why the ease she has "talking" with Gou serves as a contrast.

There's also the possibility that there isn't anything he could do to satisfy her. When she flashes back to college she doesn't even find cunnilingus satisfying but loves it from Gou. She may just be a necrophiliac.

Don't get me wrong, the husband sucks, but she's also garbage. Especially since she seems to think being a serial rapist is fine when she does it.
