In fairness, leaving a marriage is NOT that easy, especially as a housewife in Japan, doubly especially when it was an arranged marriage. Where are you going to go? You’re not financially independent enough to live by yourself, your parents aren’t going to take you back in because they’re the ones who put you in that position to begin with, and it doesn’t really seem like she has any reliable friends.Husband not paying you enough attention? Too stupid to convey your feeling or simply leave? Just conspire with someone else to effectively drug and rape him while he's unconscious over and over again.
Oh I suppose that completely justifies the rape. Sigh.In fairness, leaving a marriage is NOT that easy, especially as a housewife in Japan, doubly especially when it was an arranged marriage. Also it’s mentioned before she HAS tried talking to him, and he shuts her down.
didnt he not care she almost got raped? dont get me wrong like i dont support either parties, but it just soynds like your hurt and have had this happened because he never got drugged just possed. i mean this with all sincerity my dms are open babes, ik how it feelsOh I suppose that completely justifies the rape. Sigh.
Like it would he sooo hard to just divorce him and live off alimony, Japan's incredibly robust welfare system, and a part time job's income. What a difficult life.
Maybe she could, you know, take the initiative to make something of herself instead of being a parasite on someone she doesn't even like in an existence she hates. But no, better to wallow in a depraved, psychopathic rape fantasy that's obviously going to end horribly.
It's not really her actions that bother me, so much as the way people seem to completely gloss over the fact she's totally crossed the line at this point. What she's doing is absolutely no different from a guy repeatedly drugging and raping a girl without her knowledge, but he's a guy and neglectful, so people are just like "you go girl!"
You read it wrong. The initial reaction of him connecting the dots and running out to find his wife IS him, not the ghost. You literally got tricked by the ghost in the same way the wife did.didnt he not care she almost got raped? dont get me wrong like i dont support either parties, but it just soynds like your hurt and have had this happened because he never got drugged just possed. i mean this with all sincerity my dms are open babes, ik how it feels

The husband absolutely cares, but he was possessed and the ghost lied so now it looks like he doesn’t.
THANK YOU! It is literally the easiest time in history to get a divorce in pretty much any first and second world country. Even more so with children involved. Why do people pretend they're so helpless they "have" to do these immoral things?Oh I suppose that completely justifies the rape. Sigh.

It's unclear what she actually told him, though. In the first chapter when she's thinking about how bad he is at sex she thinks of a few things that would improve it for her but intentionally doesn't say any. All it seems like she told him is that he's under-performing/it's unsatisfying. She repeatedly points out that she can't communicate with him and doesn't have the courage to bring anything up which is why the ease she has "talking" with Gou serves as a contrast. Also it’s mentioned before she HAS tried talking to him, and he shuts her down.
