I felt like something like this was going to happen around the climax... if there's ghosts and possessions, why not resurrections? I also like that the aircon lady was kinda psychotic, it'd be too out of place if there was just someone normally kind in this manga lol.

I genuinely think it’s more the culture of Japan the author here. Feels to me like she’s pointing out the insanity of staying with your partner if you aren’t happy

I like that this shows that despite everything he is still loyal to his wife. He clearly doesn't know what a healthy relationship is but she never really bothered trying to communicate just hiding it and being enthused when her friend mentioned cheating.

It would've been "woe is me" if he weaponized his upbringing to gaslight people around him into submission or pity. As of right now he is keeping it to himself and maybe even realized only now how bad things are.
