I had high hopes for this, but the first red flag was the girl cooking with oil paint, industrial cleaner and hand warmers...
Now, it just appears like they are lining up every last cliché and trap under the sun. Please don't ruin this...

English localizers are the reason I'm studying japanese lmao
Most of the time, other languages use the english translation as a base for their owns, wich is trash, because most english localizers are frustrated writers who love to change original product to fit their agenda. That's a problem that's been affecting japanese media since, well, forever
I don't agree with that it is ego based editing. There are massive cultural differences that need some "tuning". Having read some literal word for word translations, they can be pretty awful to read in English. There are many official translations that take a sledgehammer to the text too. Sometimes the formality just needs bashing out of the work. Sentences should not be delivered in a staccato phrasing. There needs to be warmness and roundness, especially in romance and SoL. Also, Japan love subtlety buried in the choice of kanji that can often get lost in a direct translation, which might need more work to explain the nuance.

Its necessary since there is literally nothing going on since they got together. No story, no development just pure nothing. There is almost no reason to keep on following this at the moment. How do you want a story without drama. Its empty.
Let me explain the concept of Slice Of Life to you...
