It seems like the mangaka just jump straight into chapter 2 or something, because of how overly paranoid the MC for NO REASON to a gal that HE HIMSELF helped. Maybe If there is a reason or some kind of bad experience that he dealt with other gal in the past, it would make sense for him to think like this, but there is none or at least it looks like there is none right now.
