I still think that a girl acting like him would be rude. It's a bit different though, because girls get a lot more unwanted attention than boys. The comparison is just not fair.

Please. Looking at this dude he is obviously the type to take shit from people. He had no confidence in himself at all. His entire interaction with the gal shows that.

Him ignoring her just shows no interest in her from her perspective. Shouldn't take days for her to get the message. It's not a douche thing to do he does not owe her attention. Not to mention she already gave him sweets to pay him back so literally there was nothing more to their relationship.

And finally stereotyping is fine. Nothing wrong with not wanting to associate with Gals. Until he learned more about her him not wanting to associate with her is completely okay

All joking aside, stereotyping is the worst thing that you can do when interacting with someone for the first time. Never assume anything about anyone. I have met people who seem perfectly sensible and polite be absolute jerks on the regular, and those who seem like they are angry or mean be the sweetest people to be around. Gal is just a style, it doesn't have any real bearing on personality or values.

Get over yourself.

It's basically the same as this. As with most LN>manga adaptations, the narration and dialogue is pretty much identical. It's early relationship, so in the next few chapters they'll get together. It's a sweet one overall. MC gains some confidence, he helps Shino with some issues she has being around boys (it's explained why later), and shows their relationship progress in a nice way. It's really not the tropey, "oops I fell over backwards and you saw my leopard print panties" kind of thing as the first chapter may make it seem. One of the better romance LN series out there TBH.

The Christmas underwear arc is a bit tropey, but we won't get there for quite some time yet (and we haven't even met the prime instigator of that nonsense).
