He comes into his own pretty quickly into the series and helps her with her issues, so save your keyboard your rage typing. There are also two LNs translated if you wish to see that for yourself.

I was not homeschooled and am by no means a gigachad. Nor am I hugely fond of smirking, strutting, chad-type MCs. My problem here is not simply that the MC is introverted & cautious. His entire characterization -- appearance, attitude, and behavior to the smallest detail -- is an irritating, one-dimensional cliche copy-pasted from a thousand other high school manga.

I'm just sick of this particular guy, his evasive cowardice, constant projection, and overstated panic. (That said, he can be done/used well, e.g. Nagatoro-san)

I pointed out there is a reason for his behaviour that's somewhat rooted in reality (loners not wanting social contact and school social hierarchies, both of which do exist). It's obvious it's not going to be 100% realistic (which I never said it was), it's a manga, but it's also not the worst in this genre by a mile.
What I said isn't wrong even if he jumped to conclusions and didn't handle the situation well. You also seem to have forgotten that in literally the first few panels he's willing to help her when she's in trouble and in the last frame is immediately willing to do so again.
If you're so quick to judge a work by it's cover, then go ahead. I know the series is good and Sandai comes into his own because I translated the first LN volume, so I'll happily keep translating this manga no matter how many people like you complain.

EDIT: Wow I just read through the thread and for someone who claims you don't treat people like garbage you sure do to alot of strangers in manga forum threads. Surprised you haven't been banned honestly.
