Still, that doesn't give an answer. All I said was that the gift didn't feel like it's going to go well, so what warranted the attempted insult?

If you need a reason it feels like it's not going to go well, the girl's about the get a birthday gift from her boyfriend whom she JUST started dating. That gift is already lingerie, which is a bit excessive for a new relationship, and it's going to fit her perfectly, matching her three sizes, something he shouldn't have. If that doesn't come across as creepy as hell, or at least unsettling, I'll be surprised.

If you're saying that because I have investment in the story... I don't know what to tell you. I like stories. Sorry you can't find joy in them.
