Honestly I feel like most people also have similar emotions and feel as she does, but most people also arent that honest and wouldnt express it. I think its fine as long as theyre that upfront and honest. That way nothing ever has the chance to build up into anything that cant be fixed with a hug.

Probably not but I think youre missing the point entirely.

If he went alone she probably wouldve been far more appreciative and just told him to not overdo it so other girls dont catch on that he is a good one.

Dude was surrounded by pretty girls that we fawning over him, they all ended up noticing he cleans up really well and has a good personality they already found attractive. No shit she would get upset that 5 potential rivals appeared out of nowhere from her own friend group.

I mean they literally said they would consider betraying a friend for such a good catch. Good thing they were actually half decent friends and dropped the idea of going after him pretty quickly.

They just thought Shina would go to the meet-up/mixer if they did her the "favor of cleaning up her plain boring bf into a hottie". Well turns out he was more of a sleeper hit than they expected. Shina already knew this of course and she wanted to keep him under the radar.

Like Chuito said, it's not just the haircut. It's the fact that he spent the whole afternoon with other girls.
Now, I wouldn't say they fell for him, but still, in Shino's eyes, that was a potential danger.
