I hope we get to continue seeing Baku's inner thought process for at least part of this match. We haven't really been inside his head for a gamble, usually we're seeing it from Kaji or a referee's perspective.

Great point. Baku's weak constitution will be strained here. Struggling to remain in the seat might use up their air faster than expected. I wonder if they will periodically just stand up to try and catch a break?

I can already see how this poker gamble will end. Baku will end up in stage 3 of drowning somehow and when Lalo goes to the top to breath in air, thinking of himself the winner, Baku would be seated in his chair while Lalo is out of his for 10 seconds, granting Baku the win.

But they're both locked to the chair though. And the only way to reach the top is with the key gained by having the other out of their chair for 10 seconds.


Someone made a good point about hording air canisters during the game. I'm assuming there will be a time limit for each play? Because yeah, if you have more you could technically just wait it out till the other player runs out.

I hope they explain a little more next chapter, about the cards, about the ante, because it's important for the reader to understand what is going on in order to be invested. And these are the two games a person should be most invested in, the last 2 kakerou matches that matter for baku (as far as we know).

About the ante I mean something like, if in round 4 I have 3 air left I can't afford the ante, so do I go to 0 air or do I have to sit there for 15 minutes until my air runs out and I drown, or does my opponents key open up or what.

My guess is, the cards represent important things to both. For example lalos card could be his jewels. usoguis card could be his friends lives. idk

Is it just so obvious when looking at the air bios to figure out how they work? 'Cause I still don't understand shit lol. Apparently the players already know how to use them or something is afoot 'cause the water is filling up the tank..

Though they accounted for the 'fake death' in just one chapter, how nice. It's another way to loophole your way out of the game, probably the main way even, though I'm still convinced the air bios will have a part in that as well.

But the rules of the game weren't even completed yet so I still have a chance.
