I’ve always said I thought Prez was kind of a “decoy villain” whereas Komachi was the real, serious threat. She’s always given bad vibes since very early on.

my issue with that is, she was supposed to die like everybody else and we don't trully know her yet, i don't think it's a case of actual villain, there's definitely something wrong but that would also apply to half the characters in the story

A lot people seemed to have forgotten the prez is a murderer. He is not just letting people die he has on multiple occasions actively tried to kill people.

I used to like how the author staged a murder or "accident", but this chapter feels like a happy tree friends accident. A stick that suddenly broke and has pointy end is a bullshit. In real life it would be forning multiple fibrous part. I know it's just a manga but it feels like an exaggeration. Sorry for my rant

nah, most of us still remember for him being a murder indirectly. but its just surprising for him to save Satsuki despite he just "saw" her prematory corpse right on day where Satsuki supposedly to died. previously he might saw Komachi's prematory corpse before Satsuki tried to change Komachi's fate.
also, he might only letting "bad" people die (and my assumption is that he knew Komachi's true nature, which he did intentionally let her prematory corpse just like that), but for him, Satsuki isn't one of those "bad" people

It might not be that he thinks (knows) Komachi is a menace. His logic falls beyond “bad people deserve to die” when it comes to the corpses, it’s more like “people will die if they have to, and sometimes it’s people who deserve it which is good but saving good people goes against nature”.

I just firmly believe that Komachi managed to fool every single one of the characters besides Shiina, who’s such a grey character since she somehow admits/owns the fact that she’s terrible — which makes me think she’d be one of the most qualified to spot Komachi’s bad vibes (her method of bullying her to prove a point is a stupid tho)

No no you are right.
I thought she’d die because of the plate thing shown last chapter.

Imagine transit plates without smoothed edges hitting someone at as much speed/force that idk someone falling to the ground would produce. Not saying it’s the exact same material, but this looked sturdier than just cardboard.

I could be extremely wrong tho… Just thought that thing would be more akin to a “spear”.
