yeah no this really is just an explanation of what happened in "walk to death" the previous work by this author. Satsuki never saved the Prez. She just never tried to murder him, which is actually normal even for average teenager (especially since Prez never tried to murder her or her best friend anyway), and the reason she saves people is due to her traumatic fear of people dying, so obviously she won't kill people to save people.
