All while revealing a hint of foreshadowing that kuu is unknowingly embedded with the daigaren memories, which only could be transfered into her by going to the facility where the guy in the radio was on about (for the plot twist).

So... fortunately, some people had the moral integrity to not use Saya as a vessel, but they left her as a steward for any possible survivor... or at least for the legacy of humanity.
