If you mean you uploaded a manhwa by UTOON, that's because they've been locked and banned for excessive profiteering. No more uploads are allowed, and according to the mods, the chapters will eventually be removed permanently.

Most of the series they do are translations commissioned by people. The simple reason they take these things is because they're getting paid to do so. They're not going to say no to money. What confuses me is why people keep commissioning them.

There was also one manga where they crudely deleted the abs of an Amazonian war goddess character. That was depressing.

the reason was explained in one of the comments section on their website by the admin (can't find it anymore)
they kept getting blocked by malaysian/indonesian isps because of explicit content, while the majority of visitors on their website were from these countries
so they started censoring stuff to keep their main revenue source intact, i believe

That makes even more sense, I always new SEA regions were huge on most manga/manhwa/manhua sites but so few if any at all take their route. I guess it works out for them but it has poisoned a bunch of series, they’re old so unless someones a super fan or full of spite the utoon/manhwafreak versions will be definitive for english.

I’m tempted to MTL some just cause.
