I don't remember if it was already mentioned, so everything she did was calculated from her appearance to how she would behave around him.
Although she never intended to fall for him or make him fall for her. What she wanted was to bring him out of his shell the way he did for her. It was killing her to watch him essentially be her own younger self for a whole year.

His mom is an enabler of this shit. She should of left him years ago and let him rot alone, see how quick that laid back happy attitude shrivels up as he tosses back his 8th conscience store Sake while crying watching bad reality television

He wasnt like her though? He was pretty content with his life and wasnt a pushover like her. Like he's changed a bit but its hasnt been some crazy turn , you can easily see hes the same dude. Uzaki though was like a different person comparatively to how she acted when she met him , sure she is fine with its but again he hasnt changed even remotely to the same degree.

These two were probably thinking the same thing...

I feel like that initial punch (and the subsequent beating) had way more than just him touching Uzaki behind it. Like, say, years of frustration at dad's usual behaviors, the beatdowns while ingraining the Martial Arts into him... The thing with Uzaki might've been just the straw that broke the camel's back.
Good for him tho, Dad certainly deserves it

He seemed content internally, but what she saw was something else entirely. They weren't just on different pages or in different books, they were in completely different libraries. And, as we've since seen, he really wasn't content, he was simply stubborn about being the mirror-universe version of his dad. One of this title's major themes has been Sakurai finding a persona of his own. He's not at all who he once was. If Hana vanished from his life tomorrow, he wouldn't go back to the way he was again.

Merry belated Christmas, all. I originally planned to have this out much sooner, but between the holidays and a technical issue that caused the original typeset I did to be lost, it took longer than I would have liked. No joke, as I was too frustrated this time to make a funny. Sorry about that!

As always, I hope you enjoy the chapter!
Thank you for the translation.

So what your saying, is instead of marrying someone like his mother, he's marrying someone like his father...
That's not cursed at all...
It DEFINITELY wasn't something that occurred to me while reading as well either...
