Been a while since I had seen an old school shoujo style story like this.

These types of arcs, where the main female character is romantically tempted by creepy dudes was pretty common in shoujos back in the day.

I have seen these lines in "cutesy" shoujo manga way too many times, when a creepazoid makes his moves on the main female character in shoujos:

"My heart belongs to [GENERIC BISHONEN], but yet I...!
Why can't I resist [GENERIC RAPEY GUY] ...!?
My body won't listen to me...!
Save me [GENERIC BISHONEN]!"

These days people just cry "NTR BAIT!!!!" whenever this happens, so this fad has died off for the most part. (Not in hentai though...)

Honestly, I don't miss these types of crappy plot devices at all.

Damn... She got confused pretty quickly. I mean, if she's unsure whether she even likes Sasaki-kun, then she definitely has no reason to believe that Ao-kun loves her.

Thanks for the chapter!

I mean... I know it's a classic manga trope but the fact that the thought "Well. No other guys made me feel this way so I probably do feel this way" never crossed her mind is dumb since she's really putting genuine thought into it. What makes it worse is her two friends there didn't think of it and bring it up either.

Sure, you could argue that she's moreso debating whether or not she's just responding instinctually for blood but the same exact argument can be applied here. She doesn't have the same reaction toward Ao, or any of the other people she's around so it's probably not a vampire thing.

Feels like shallow drama for the sake of just tossing drama in the loop cause, somehow, this was a better angle than the fucking tracking device Ao put on her a couple chapters ago.

I feel like the very first thought she should've had was whether human attraction was in any way similar to why vampires would be attracted. And ultimately deciding, well yeah I'm a vampire so why should me liking blood be any different from people liking aesthetics, or some shit.
