I'm getting some trans-coding and metaphor in this one, at least for the lead. And yeah I know it's a genderswap story, but this feels like some actual Thematic Intent as opposed to "genderswap is fun" as true as genderswap being a fun thing is.

Also, the vagina-staring running joke is... a little tasteless, not particularly funny. hope it stops at two instances.

I started reading this, expecting very little. This is actually pretty entertaining, decently written, and very well translated. I'm enjoying it.

The overwhelming majority of genderswap mangas are made mostly for the sake of sexual fetish pandering rather than actual trans representation so if lewd jokes make you unconfortable the genre might just not be for you

Of course, there are still the ones that take the subject seriously rather than in a fetishistic way but you probably already is familiar with these mangas

I'm not opposed to a little trashiness here and there, but execution is everything. If something is Tacky AND Unfunny, AND not sexy... well it doesn't really have much going for it now does it? Also, I mention that one running joke that craters because it does stand out as out of place in comparison to the rest of the story that works far more successfully.
