She eats it as the other choices resulted in her death in the game, and for once the younger brother appears as it seems he didn't eat breakfast with her and is outraged, actually yelling at the maid, telling her to go to a doctor and actually wants the maid fired.
Turns out he hates the main character, but it's because she replaced his sister as he thinks she can still be in trouble elsewhere and here this girl is, and he was bullying her and hated her, but he actually didn't know just how much she was bullied, he at least seems genuinely shocked at what was given to her as food, even thought the main character sees that it was a common meal in her memories, when his older brother and the father don't fire the maid, the younger brother is actually genuinely shocked, he may hate the girl, but he wanted much more milder bullying, and doesn't think a person who can serve food like that to anyone, smirk about it and just watch is anyone decent and worth keeping her around, and when she keeps being the personal maid of the main character, he genuinely complains.
So, not perfect, as he was still part of the abuse and bullying, but he knows she is not his sister and comes across as genuinely not knowing just how badly his family and servants bullied her when he wasn't watching, it actually raises his interest in her and the more he realizes how she lived, the more pity and suprise she didn't turn out worse than she did he has, still, it's not a big love and the main character still recalls that he was part of the bullying and doesn't forgive nor forget any of it, particularly since he still comes at her hard a few times afterwards.
