almost every indication so far suggests that it is a game, she's just trapped in it. for us as the readers it's obvious these characters are meant to be people and not game NPCs but she has no way to know thisshe really is stupid
she knows its not just a game, but she still only sees eclis as a variable to manipulate, he knows theres something missing, and it's her actual feelings
It's a bit more accurate to say that she's been treating this whole experience as a survival game. Her % obsession has always been there, but it's more pronounced the closer she gets to both 100% on one person and the end of her timeline.Bro why manhwa always starts good but at some point it become utter shit. I always thought she treated this like a real life that's why it's so good, but at some point she become obsessed with the numbers.
Right, she didn't even consider positive meanings for red for the prince (imo love)I think…she should be a little more concerned about the colors.
Likewise, she said that the duke would follow them…but considering that he already lost one daughter, I’m not really sure if he has the best track record for this. Lol
Either way, I go back and forth on how I feel about this story. On one hand, I’m surprised that she has maintained her sanity through all of this. Trying to play her way to win a game. However, it’s not even clear that “winning” would get her a ticket out. Everything is transactional to an extent, and Eckles is likely the one to feel it most since he’s truly at her mercy.
On the other hand, it’s hard not to feel the very real trauma and want for connections that these characters have. I just want a happy ending for everyone but I feel like chaos is coming.
Ironically the one time she goes the longest never knowing or even checking someone's number, it goes better than she could think, then ruins it when she's too tempted to check. In this case the prince. She obviously has real feelings for him, but keep pushing them awayBro why manhwa always starts good but at some point it become utter shit.
