I like this chapter because it makes a very good point.

Axes, knives, bows are all thing you'll need for survival.

Swords are only needed to kill other humans. They have no other purpose

@FictionWeavile It makes a very stupid point. Thorfinn with his naivete believes in an utopia. He basically wants to escape the human nature in humans while bringing them along. Good luck with that.

@criver considering how Thorfinn's expedition ended historically with armed natives capping their cheeks (and Freydis clapping her tits) because of misunderstandings/killings...
Unless the author is going to go ahistorical, Yukimura is probably going to make a point about Thorfinn's ideas being inherently naive (that or it was naive for the time period and we can do better now yadda yadda).

Two groups worked on chapter 166, two groups worked on chapter 168, not a single group worked on chapter 167 (to say nothing of chapters 164 and 165)?

@Nolonar one group worked on those chapters and didn't allow rehosting their works on MangaDex. Their site is down now.

The funny thing is, that Yukimura, with his attention to detail, actually hints at Harvarr's size before the big reveal.

Look at the second pannel on page 20. Look at the size of those fingers grabbing the wall.

Thought Thorkell was only interested in battle but it seems he was defeated in the most important game.

Killing other humans IS necessary for survival though. Why do y'all think Vikings were like they were?

@BirchJuice Environmental and societal factors forced Scandinavians to find livelihood from abroad. War in it's purest form, for food and land.

Ahh, so no proofs for
>Killing other humans IS necessary for survival though.
Got it. The initial post of mine which you replied to actually had 3 semi elaborate paragraphs and debunked that stuff, but why bother? So I replaced all that nonsense just with "elaborate plox". Well, kudos to you, I did not expect a reply at all.
