The translations are a bit off, like when Thorfinn says he offers 2 cows, he's really saying he was worth 2 cows as a slave. I noticed a lot of mistakes like those. I don't mean to be rude but it feels unfair people are complaining about the content of the manga when the translation could not be getting the meaning across.
