Confucianism vs Legalism?
Yeah, same thoughts as well. Fajia is quite strict in maintaining social order. Not that Kongzi would disagree much other than the degree of their punishments, with his whole thing about Social Harmony. So, it wouldn't be strange for Rulers to synthesize these theories in their praxis. Coincidentally, Cats in Mandarin are pronounced as Māo.

Take out the cats, and you got a brief description of Legalism. It is one of major Chinese ancient philosophy.

I predicted before this chapter was going to be about legalism. I can see the goal of this story. It's a reenactment of the hundred school of thoughts era of China except with femboy vtubers! So we got Confucius, Mohism, Taoism and now Legalism. Next we probably going to see the school of logicians (the people who'd go "Well actually!" during debates) or the school of small talks (the people who recorded EVERYTHING including small town rumors). There's also the agriculturists, the school of medicine, the school of Yin Yang, the school of diplomacy, and so on and so on...

Now that makes sense as to why Han Fei worships cats!
