The FMC is horrible. First chapter in, MC got bellitled and black mailed. Quite a scummy thing to do even if the black mail part never came up again. MC has the right not to trust her for this especially that she kept playing games rather than being honest and continued creating misunderstandings. The love hotel arc could had ended very badly for the MC if he was not assertive to explain the situation.

The MC is not good either. Typically dense not to realize that his childhood friend has feelings for him and spineless not to call out the mistreatment towards him by the FMC. Slightly similar to Kazuya.

The 'stalemate' ends on Chapter 88 for reference due to the MC confessing. The teasing becomes tolerable and fair after that as the MC also starts being assertive. The story actually becomes decent after the MC kisses her on Chapter 115.
