Dunno man, feels like you're reading the passage in a specific way so you can get offended.
I don't see any assertion of these liberal whites being white supremacists in the slightest. "In a white supremacist context" does not mean "these people are white supremacists" as far as I can tell.
For the record I think the passage is nonsense. But I'm having a hard time seeing how it's offensive or even particularly abrasive.
Not to mention you had to intentionally read the passage in the first page. In this particular instance it wasn't exactly hard to avoid it.

I'm reading this as "liberal whites are often superficially 'racially tolerant' so they can feel good about themselves, but in reality still participate in discriminatory systems."In a white supremacist context, white identity in large part rests upon a foundation of Superficial racial toleration and acceptance. Whites who position themselves as liberal often opt to protect what they perceive as their moral reputations, rather than recognize or change their participation in systems of inequity and domination.

Yes, that's literally all that the quote asserts. You are somehow angry about it.So people accused of racism are defensive and don't like it.
So even your "average person" doesn't seem to be offended in the slightest. Why are you?Yikes, hypocrisy at it's finest, no thanks. Good Bye.
