The guy was literally just threatening to kill you a minute ago and you are just going to remain hidden while he can't detect you instead of killing him. Now he's killed the chief and has a hostage. WTF MC?
I wish the MC was more of a John Wick and less of... well... a typical soy boy... his lack of conviction and passiveness of lets just hide and hope he goes away, got the poor Village Chief killed and that girl beaten. He could have stuck that guy in the back while he was reeling in pain when is magic misfired.

To all the commenters saying MC should kill this dude. He literally shows the other guy he's Level 4, in this chapter. His opponent is easily Twice his level. Unless MC gets a Superb Crit, he dies after that single arrow. This isn't a Got an OP Cheat Skill after reincarnating story. He's Stuck in this Starter Village, because his stat growth won't allow him to progress much. He's an Onion Knight and you guys think he can take on an Ogre at level 2 with starter equipment.
@Dipuc4Life It was mentioned in the previous chapter, when Nina is playing the RPG on the Laptop. People can die, and doing so costs gold and they restore at the last Church they were at. So in this instance, if MC kills this guy, he comes back to life in his previous city. He says in this chapter if you have Vit and Luc at 20, you don't lose anything, but I don't know if he actually has stats that high. Especially since he ran to the boonies after running out of money from being raised back to life at the church. His whole scam is to sell Nina to Rich assholes for money, like he did his previous Princess Doll.

Yeah MC isn't exactly being the typical Japanese isekai pacifist MC. The whole point is that he's weak as fuck and he had to be careful who he makes enemies with. And the enemy in this case is specifically using the fact that he can come back endlessly to harass him, so even if the MC manages to kill him, there's a lot to consider.
And even then, once he realizes what kind of person the shitty villain is, he resolved to kill him. But he's weak and needs to get the perfect ambush. This is a world with stats after all and the villain supposedly has 20 Vit, there's a good chance he won't die to just one regular shot.

You people need to understand something: the MC is not stupid, it's the author that is bad at writing.
The author felt the need to create a "villain" and simply forced one. Remember the high slime? The one that assumed that woman form?
You remember that the high slime ducked the mc off? I remember that, but I still don't know if it was a dream or real. Why? Bad writing.
Remember those women suddenly fainting without explanation? I remember, but who did it? I don't know, that situation happened because the author wanted to show some tittles.
The same thing with the fox: it was introduced as a character that would be reoccurring, but died like any other monster. If the mc had put an arrow in the fox head on the first chapter it appeared, stealing his quails, it would be a better death than this.
This comic is simply trying to earn attention with sudden shock. "O no the slime turned into woman" "o no the fox that we just met just died" "o no the old man that was starting to become a real character just died"
This comic is a no Brainer. You take your brain off your head before reading it and put it back after doing so. Ever watched "scary movie"? That's an example of a no Brainer.
