Might be farfetched but hear me out. We know Nina as a so-called perfect copy of Princess Aurora who is gonna "die" after 6 months and Slime-san can essentially turn into anyone that Saburo is yearning for, so I feel like Slime-san is eventually going to merge with Nina's magic crystal when it recognizes how much Saburo wants to be with her. We learned in chapter 9 that the original doll princesses were supposed to operate semi-permanently anyway, perhaps the powerful High Slime can form a sort of symbiosis with her crystal to supply it with MP and maybe even alter her body structure as well? That might be too convenient but I've seen worse isekai plots.
