You have to face your accuser in court, but the court is in the capital. In instances like this, both sides are going to be self serving, so how do you determine the truth? Not just asking possible criminals if they pinky swear they didn't do anything. So off to court.

Either the MC is 100 times weaker than I thought (which is not being explained properly) or the power scale is whatever the author feels like it that day.

Like right now, if a crappy Hero has the power to arrest the village on his word alone, then shouldn't our MC (a hero) have the power to dispel it with his word alone?

Do you want power scale, or influence scale?
On power scale, or mc rolled a dud for prepackaged cheat power being "+1 to luck" (if I remember tight), so he sucks to (basically) any other hero or warrior.
On influence scale...no clue.

There's probably a cooldown, so you die in quick succession and you're just gone, and if not, any edgelord will immediately wonder if the "npc" will still respawn when you destroy their town's church/spawn point.
