I'm actually curious. Why did everyone vote for the factions they did?

I voted for the Sons of Malice because it's the army I collect. I like anti-heroes and how they hate both Chaos and the Imperium

Guard is cool as hell, just average joes, copious amounts of firepower, and a metric shitton of Emperor-blessed adamantium balls against the all the horrors the galaxy has to throw at humanity.

my actual minis are an eclectic collection with no rhyme or reason. I trend towards WFRP/Rogue Trader/etc. for tabletop shenanigans, interest in 40k is for the lore and stories.

I wish this game wasn't so demanding on my wallet. I've got five different armies and not enough time to paint all of them, with the exception of Sisters of Battle. Just fifteen more models and I'll be done until the two boxes of Retributors come in. Then it is back to Deathwatch.
