@asterist this unreleased work has completely messed up everything I thought I knew about the Kagaya family tree and it doesn't help that the old, outdated chart isn't complete on the Yuri Nastu side, especially on the Kagaya Nene's siblings and their children:

even tho mochi au lait explains it I do not really know who is who because I don't really trust my machine translation, and I really want to be up to date on the Kagaya family tree because of the Kagaya Inn Ark coming up in Wagayuri , like apparently if I understand correctly, Nene has a brother, himself has a young daughter , the kid with the black noodle haircut (it was absolutely never mentioned in yuri natsu) and like there's stuff about someone tsubomi knew too ? and also there's the daughters of Kaguya Yuu that were marked "??" on the chart (are they really her daughters ?), like who even is the mother of Kagaya Hana ?

To be clear, these simply seem to be fun designs that Mocchi Au Lait didn't want to leave on the table, we should all be grateful they were recycled into wagayuri.

From a quick read, this seems to be a comic drafted before yurinatsu itself was written, as it seems to feature a younger Kagaya Nene and Kagaya Akira (Nene is Hana's mother, Akira is her older sister). As such I don't believe this is "canon" with the rest of Yuri Natsu/Wagayuri and the Mocchiverse at large.

Interestingly that girl Akira is hitting it off with was shown in the Kagaya Hana between-series short comic, she seems to be of an age with the other Kagaya girls, so it seems like she got left behind when the authors aged up Akira, how sad! Hopefully she gets to show up in the summer vacation to come.

A full relationship chart just depicting Wagayuri would be a significant endeavour, according to my records we've got more than 70 named characters at this point.

I'm interested in seeing that short comic you're mentioning (translated if possible) , second why do I feel like this is the first time I've ever heard of a Kagaya Akira and third I've always assumed that Hana wasn't Nene's daughter because well she was never mentioned until somewhere during yurinatsu , I think ? and she never showed up for some reason, I've always understood that tsubomi was the eldest sister , how many kids does nene have at this point I lost count 😭😭😭

It's not a name I've seen anywhere else, likely she was important to this drafted story but Mocchi Au Lait have frequently toyed around with ideas to later change them. Itsumi herself was not the original protagonist of wagayuri, she was a character designed for another story who got swapped in after the initial draft and we're all better off for it.
